Step 1

Enroll in a BACB approved ABA course.​

Step 2

Determine which supervision option will work for you.​​

​Step 3

Complete and pass the required course from the BACB website.​

BCBA = 1500 Independent Hrs

BCaBA = 1000 Independent Hrs

 

Face-to-Face = Once, every 2 wks

 

Amount = 5% of total accumulated every 2 wks

 

This type of supervision is typically obtained by hiring a BCBA, privately or obatining one through your place of employment.

Independent 
Supervision

BCBA = 1000 Independent Hrs​

BCaBA = 670 Independent Hrs

 

Face-to-Face = Once, every wk

 

Amount = 7.5% of total accumulated wkly

 

This type of supervision is offered through an approved course at a university.

 

 

Practicum 
Supervision
Intensive
Practicum

BCBA = 750 Independent Hrs

BCaBA = 500 Independent Hrs

 

Face-to-Face = Twice, every wk

 

Amount = 10% of total accumulated wkly

 

This type of supervision is offered through an approved course at a unversity, but it is more intesive.
